Many people don’t understand a soldiers point of view on things. I can’t say much because I am not a war veteran but what I can tell you is that the slightest things can take a toll. Being away from home in a controlled environment with no interaction from the general public has it’s effects. Not being able to drink knowing the fact that your buddies are out drinking beer and having fun will have an effect on you as well. Not being able to drink and living in a controlled environment, now that’s a sacrifice. If you call worrying sacrifice, so be it. If you consider not cheating on a spouse knowing that you have the opportunity to do so, a sacrifice, more power to you. I don’t preach, I just say it like it is.
